What do AI and data analytics services include?
AI and data analytics services turn an organisation's data into decisions and automation — predicting demand, extracting information from documents, analysing images, and showing performance in real time. Ants Creation (Pvt) Ltd provides AI, machine learning and advanced analytics services in Sri Lanka through its AI and analytics team.
Our own team works in four areas: business intelligence (dashboards, reporting and the data warehousing behind them), machine learning models such as forecasting and classification, natural language processing (text analysis, chatbots and reading documents with OCR), and computer vision for images and video.
Every project starts with the business question and the data available to answer it. Where the data is not ready, we say so and fix the foundation first, rather than building a model that cannot be trusted.

How can AI help my business?
Common uses are forecasting demand, reading information from scanned documents and forms automatically, analysing images and video for inspection and monitoring, answering common customer questions with a chatbot or automated WhatsApp messages, and giving managers clear dashboards of how the business is performing. Ants Creation starts from the decision you want to improve, then checks whether your data can support it.
Do we need a lot of data to use AI?
It depends on the use case. A dashboard can start with the data you already hold, while a forecasting or classification model needs enough reliable history to learn from. Ants Creation assesses your data during discovery and recommends whether to start with analytics, a narrow pilot model or data improvements first, rather than building a model that cannot be trusted.
What is the difference between BI and AI?
Business intelligence (BI) shows what has happened and what is happening, through dashboards and reports built on your data. AI and machine learning go further: they predict, classify and automate, for example forecasting demand or flagging risk. Many Ants Creation projects use both, with the dashboards and the data warehouse behind them built first and models added once the data is ready.
Can AI connect to our existing systems?
Yes. Ants Creation integrates dashboards and models with your ERP, CRM and other operational data sources, so results appear in the systems and reports your team already uses. Data is gathered from those systems, cleaned and stored in a data warehouse through ETL, so it can be analysed together. Our own software team builds the connections the project needs.
Do you provide AI consultancy before building?
Yes. Opportunity assessment and pilot design are available as AI and machine learning consultation through our training and consultancy service. Ants Creation’s team scores candidate use cases on data readiness and business value, reviews whether your data can support them, and designs a narrow, measurable pilot, so you can decide on the investment before building at scale.
